✨ ACEK Academy Matric Dance 2026: A Night of Glamour, Laughter & Lasting Memories

On Saturday, 5 September 2026, the ACEK Academy Grade 12 Class of 2026 swapped textbooks and exam pressure for an evening of glamour, laughter, and celebration at the Mercure Hotel in Nelspruit. Dressed to impress, the matriculants transformed the red carpet into a runway as they made their grand entrances, turning heads and setting the mood for an unforgettable night. From elegant outfits and perfect photographs to excited conversations and plenty of smiles, it was obvious from the very start that this was going to be a night to remember. The celebration united the ACEK Academy leadership team — Director Mr A.B Chalwe, Principal Mr P.T Pagiwa, Deputy Principal Ms Z.P Sifunda, Senior Teacher Mr L. Musarurwa, HOD Mr S. Banyatsang, and HOD Ms L. Nkuna — who joined the learners in honouring this special milestone. The evening was alive with music, dancing, laughter, and heartfelt speeches from the Director, Principal, Head Boy Sibongakonke Nyathikazi, and Head Girl Chrissentia Mokoena. Programme Director Mr S. Mkhonto maintained high energy throughout the night, ensuring the learners were entertained while also reminding them that, beyond the glamour and celebration, their final examination journey is nearly upon them. Of course, no Matric Dance would be complete without a touch of friendly competition! 🏆 From Best Dressed to Best Dancer, Funniest Person, Most Popular, Best Hairstyle, Most Academically Improved, and Best Academic Achiever, the awards generated plenty of excitement and cheer. Congratulations to all the winners — and to every learner who made the evening special simply by arriving, dressing up, and celebrating together.
